: Do not wait for things to happen, make things happen

The awareness of the population of a country, checks the social and political evils, and cautions the government machinery from embezzlement or corruption in any other form. Moreover, the government that is negligent or less attentive to the welfare aspects of its people, is put into action. It is the collective urge and the legitimate demand of the people, which get things done. Further, it influences the economic growth rate of a country.

If the people remain passive to the indifferent attitude of the government, the nation's progress either remains static or goes at a snail's pace. In many cases, the grievances of the common people remain unaddressed.

Hence, instead of taking miseries for granted, the people should make things happen. When the rule of a government does not reach upto the satisfaction of the people, the social urge on the part of the people, becomes a stimuli to remind the rulers of their responsibility. In other words, a little of awareness and alertness, leaves the wheels of governance, lubricated. It is here that 'necessity is the mother of invention' finds its relevance.

People too, should shoulder the responsibility of deepening the foundations of all-round prosperity. They should take an active part in driving the nation on the wheels of prosperity. This, merely, should not confine an individual. One should aim at building a personality, which might keep oneself immune to the evil or disastrous ideas. Such a personality develops a thirst, that cannot be quenched with mere nationalism. Instead, one would yearn to leave the lower realms of passion, to rise into a world citizen. One's greater goal should be to extend one's services, by all means, to the world outside their country. The real pleasure lies in serving the world that is not demarcated with national barriers.
