The Ten Best Absorbers of Solar Energy

Germany, with 9,785 megawatts, is the leader of the world of solar energy. It has a perfect
support of its government. It is the first major industrialized nation to commit to the renewable energy

transition called Energiewende. It is the leading producer of wind turbines in the world. Today, 27% of its

domestic electric energy needs are addressed with renewable sources of energy.

Spain, with 3,386 megawatts, occupies the second place. Like Germany, Spain too, has its                           government's support.

Japan, with 2,633 megawatts, stands in the second place.

The U.S. stands in the fourth place, with 1,650 megawatts.

Italy stands in the fifth place, with 1,167 megawatts.

Czech Republic stands in the sixth place, with 465 megawatts. It has ample administrative                              policies.

Belgium's is the seventh place, with 363 megawatts.

China, with 305 megawatts, stands in the eighth place.  It being the major manufacturer of the
panels, has not installed many solar panel units.

France is in the ninth place, with 272 megawatts. It has well planned programs and policies in                        place.

India stands in the tenth place, with 120 megawatts. It aims at reaching 20 gigawatts by 2020.

Article Goodwill is all praise for the efforts put in by the above nations, at a time when the
environment is badly in need of actions rather than mere words.
