The world needs a monitoring body to root out the imbalances

Today, all the nations are the components of a global village. We do not live in an age of or before Columbus and Vasco da gama. As such, we don't have anything to do with finding new sea-routes to the world. Globalization, various sophisticated means of communication, the fast mode of transportation, the flood of science and technology and the spread of education, transfer of skills, which are inevitable factors of a global village, leave every nation aware of the developments taking place in different corners of the world, which cannot be hidden from anyone. Globalization has been the backbone of business and commerce. Almost every man in the remote corners of the world live in a state of awareness. Each nation has a stable government, international relations and a foreign policy. Besides, each nation has a defence system. However, it is not the defence system of a country that can ensure the real security to it. In fact it is the international relations, foreign policy and its peaceful activities that decides the real security. The peace supporting countries can get together to see that the things are set right.  Today's society, having been well-knit, has taken the shape of a super-structure. It hardly gives scope to any nation, to initiate imperialism or colonization.
From the developments discussed above, it becomes obvious that there is hardly any room for political domination. Even if, any such attempt is made, it would only give temporary relief, lead to the  investment of money for vain and ambiguous purposes, loss of precious time and the loss of innocents lives  and property.  Further,  no nation likes to be inferior to anyone. As such, there is no scope for superiority complex too.

It is time when nations stopped craving for power and unreasonable domination.  Instead, a body comprising the elected representatives chosen from each nation, would ensure a better monitoring of the imbalances, that stem from the day to day affairs of the world. Such a body might ensure international peace and harmony, There would not be any place left for inequality or to exhibit political stunts.
The territorial disputes on the sea-waters or the endless degradation of environment, resulting out of the relentless occupation of the cold latitudes, for grabbing crude oil or other mineral deposits, would gradually come down. Such a unanimous body would exercise a sort of control over unprecedented fluctuation emerging from any field or from any nation, that endangers or threatens the international peace.

It would be judicious for all the nations to join hands to bring down starvation, carbon emissions and fossil-fuel based technologies. Instead of investing money to  become a global political power or  ferocious, a global mutual fund should be started and the same should be used to  invest  in carrying out  agricultural and medical research. The agricultural research would help tackle the food shortage. Crops can be grown, that can withstand climate change. The medical research would help, not only to bring down the number of the terrible diseases but also the cost of the medicines and the cost of the treatment.
The time has come for the world to stand together with a unanimous decision that might effectively check the imbalances in the day to day affairs of the world.
