Is David's vision comprehensive ?


                        David's stand on the treaty change, has left no room for EU solidarity. The unanimous decision taken by the other members of the European Union, makes it obvious that the other members insist on a comprehensive growth the EU. Despite some past potential fluctuations and the challenges posed by the Global economic crisis, the members' solidarity, however, with an exemption to UK, is an indication of wisdom. Unity is strength.

                The possible pre-referendum deal outlined by the two senior European politicians, would partially exclude Britain from the EU affairs. It is also an irony that UK would be a 'low-definition' member of the EU. This would naturally define other members of the EU as high definition members.


                 It would be better for UK to introspect before finalizing the deal. 'United we stand,divided we fall' is a statement by Shakespeare, who himself is a part of Britain's myth.

                 The idea of "two-speed Europe" might give a temporary relief but it would diminish the significance of UK in EU, in all aspects. "Ever closer member" is more an oxymoron and less a friendly greeting. Though, the phrase, "semi-detached member" would form a link between the
