Even though there have been differences
between United States and Russia,
Mr. Vladimir Putin has taken a positive step forward
to build understanding and confidence. The world looks forward to healthy ties
between the two nations. At a time when the world witnesses a huge number of issues of international concern, Mr, Putin is expected to appease the apprehensions of the counterpart and see that his dreams come true. Similarly, the U.S. too, should foresee the bigger goals for the benefit of itself as well as for the good of the world. It is easier to misconceive that to conceive. The NATO membership should not become a criterion or impediment to put the bilateral process of the track.
Global security and peace should be the matter of concern and priority
but not the personal prejudice. Such an exigent opportunity should be dealt
judiciously. It is not a one man show but a bilateral understanding, and such a
thing does not only need the efforts of one side but also the endeavors of the
other side.
Instead of being given a hard treatment, the process should be
nurtured delicately, and with a comprehensive vision. Not only, will the either
side will benefit instantly as well as cherish long term goals, but also, the
world will have a positive influence.
The worries of the former Secretary of
the state should help the bilateral process to go ahead diligently but not to
put it off the track. Neither should one leave opportunity nor should one run
after opportunity. The bilateral ties between the two big powers should
propagate to give develop mutual respect as well as to tackle the global
challenges effectively.
