Necessity is the mother of invention, This is what's the case of Renault. The emerging demand from the Indian car market, has compelled the company to come up with new models with fascinating features, to suit the taste and requirement of the Indian customers. The seven inch touch screen infotainment system which supports Audio, Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity. Also, it provides a sat-nav technology (satellite navigation technology). The screen gives the pleasure that is derived in the case of Duster and Lodgy.
This is perhaps, small price, big feature. The digital instrument cluster is another attraction. The car has a speedometer complete with a digital fuel gauge at the right. It has a thin LCD strip at the base which acts as MID. The front power window are installed in a way that the driving becomes convenient. The rear windows are devoid of any power.
The turn indicators are placed innovatively on the front quarter panels of the car. This might not convince the car enthusiasts, but the technical understanding of this new endeavor, will certainly drive the point home. The another possibility could be to integrate it with ORVMs, which would drive the style to the next level.
The 3 lug nuts in the tyres that holds 13 inch steel wheels, is an inevitable attraction. The car without alloy wheels but with 3 lug nuts, does not give the option for upgrading the wheels in the aftermarket. The smoked headlamps shaped as 'C', adds another feather to the cap. The badging at the rear on window line aligned centrally, is a admirable idea of the company. Does the company not seem to be telling, ' Think different, live different'. Had the badge been placed on the bonnet or the hatch of the car, it would have given a monotonous look. Hope this would entice the customers.
