' Baahubali' an epic film, directed by

Srisaila Sri Rajamouli, has emerged as the biggest hit overseas. It has surpassed even Bollywood blockbuster such as "Happy New Year"  and "PK" in its opening weekend. Baahubali has gone beyond the regional boundaries. In the opening weekend, it broke the record of PK in Malaysia. Though, the case is not similar with Canada, Australia and New Zealand, the ordinary collection each screen, has dominated PK (directed by Rajkumar Hirani). PK had collected $7.68 million.

Srisaila Sri Rajamouli, born on 10 October 1973, at Raichur, Andhra Pradesh, India, is an Indian film  director and screen writer. Rama Rajmouli is his spouse. Mr. Rajamouli has 2 children. His blockbuster films are Magadheera (2009), Eega (2012) and Baahubali (2015). Besides winning many awards, Eega was screened in the Panorama section of the 16th Shanghai International Film Festival, and Puchon Intenational Fantastic Film Festival. The melodrama films, 'Maryada Ramanna' and 'Chatrapati' were remade in various Indian languages resulting in good reponse from the film-lovers. 'Vikramarkudu' which revolves round the social problem, is tinged with comic flavour. It was screened in the international film festival of India in the mainstream. Mr. Rajamouli has also been attributed with "Entertainer of The Year 2012" for Makkhi. Baahubali, which is believed to be the most expensive Indian film, was shot using Arri Alexa XT camera. This is the first film directed by Rajamouli using digital camera, and has created a record. K. Raghavendra Rao is its producer and M.M. Keeravani is its music director. The film features Rana Kaggubati, Prabhas Varma, Anushka Shetty and Tammannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. It is the story of brothers who fight for a kingdom. Baahubali is made in Telugu and Tamil and dubbed into other languages including Hindi, Malayalam and even French.
The film ventures into a new realm of Rajamouli's imagination. Baahubali makes a mangificent use of the mythological elements found in Amar Chitra Katha and Chandamama magazine. The film teems in kingdoms, valorous men, fratricidal strifes, invasions and wars. A magnificent experience, stunning spectacles and a high definition creates a unique place in Indian film industry. The film is an enrichment of the Indian heritage and its past glory, which is heightened with the majestic appearance of the kings, their benevolent royalty and the loyalty of the tribes adds to the richness of the film. The past glory Indian glory, having been tinged with a dolby touch and visual effects, takes the audience into Utopia. The Indian monarchy, coupled with a high-skilled narration, stand as pillars to the success of the movie. The director has succeeded in striking a balance between the tremendous visual effects and human emotions. Nevertheless, Baahubali retains the Indian sensibility and remains typical, with regard to its theme.
