Jordan Alexander Spieth, who is a US golfer, is just 22. As a golfer he has been the heart-throb of several teenage girls. He ranks second in the world. His first stunning victory is witnessed at the 2015 Masters Tournament. He scored 270(-18). This marvellous victory fetched him $1.8 million. Having tied the 72-hole record, Spieth became the second youngest to win the Masters. He won the U.S. Junior Amateur in 2009 and 2011. Before he was 18, he stood no.1 in the Polo Golf Rankings. Polo Golf Rankings promotes the best junior golfers in the United States.
The American Junior Golf Association named him the Rolex Junior Player of the Year in 2009. Spieth accepted an exemption to play in the PGA, Tour's HP Byron Nelson Championship in 2010. 2008 and 2009 Championship offered him another exemption in which he made the cut and finished in a tie for 32nd position. He became the no.1 amateur in the world Amateur Golf Ranking after his performance in the U.S. open.
Bobby Jones who was a lawyer by profession, became the youngest US open champion in1923. Jones was the most successful amateur golfer ever to compete on a national and international level. Today Spieth remains the youngest US open champion.
