Palm Jumeira is an artificial island created using land reclamation. It has been attributed the title, the eighth wonder of the world.
Palm Jumeira, which is an artificial archipelago in United Arabv Emirates, is created by using land reclamation by a Dubai owned company, Nakheel. It is designed and developed by Herman Hurley Charvat Peacock. It comes under one of the three planned islands called the Palm islands ( Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali and Palm Deira). It Increases the Dubai's shoreline by 520 kilometres. It protrudes into the Persian gulf. The Palm Jumeirah is the smallest and the original of the three islands.
